Specto Wins a Tender to Offer ICDL at Refugee Camps in Jordan
In response to an open call for tender, Specto has submitted an offer to the Norwegian Refugee Council
(NRC) to provide ICDL at 6 centers. Specto has won the tender against competition. The tender called for
a Framework Agreement for Provision of International Accreditation for Recognized Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Literacy Qualification.
The location of implementation will be in Zaatari Refugee Camp, two locations in Azraq Refugee camps,
and 3 centers in northern host governorate(s) in Jordan. Specto will provide the following modules:
Windows, MS Office (Basic & Advanced), Internet, e-mail, Web editing, Image Editing, and the option for
NRC to implement other modules or courses for which Specto can grant accreditation. NRC expects to
train and certify 600 new candidates in 2020.
It is to be noted that Specto and NRC has been collaborating for more than five years already, and more
than 2,100 Candidates have obtained the ICDL as a result of this collaboration.
