The Future of ICDL in Schools- Dead Sea, Jordan
Specto believes that the success of the ICDL program in schools relies on the efforts exerted by teachers. For this, Specto held an event at the Crown Plaza Dead Sea Resort for private schools in Jordan. This annual event aims at strengthening the relationship with the schools managements and expressing appreciation for the ICDL teachers who work really hard throughout the year to make the ICDL experience a successful one for students.
Around 100 principals and teachers from schools in different parts of Jordan attended the event.
An insightful presentation was delivered by the General Manager of Specto, Naseem Abu El Haija about the future of ICDL. Teachers got the chance to learn about the content of new ICDL modules such as Digital Marketing, Computing and ICT in education. A very interesting presentation was delivered by Dr. Sami Abu El Haija in Artificial Intelligence which was considered very engaging.
Specto seized this opportunity to honor schools that issued a decision of making the ICDL compulsory for all teachers and for those who endorsed the greatest number of ICDL modules.
This event was a good opportunity for ICDL teachers and principals to share their experience in implementing the ICDL program and discuss ways to overcome possible challenges.
