Specto promotes ICDL through the pan-Arab EDRAAK platform
To make the basic ICDL knowledge accessible to all and not confined to centers and
classrooms, Specto cooperated with EDRAAK to make the ICDL Base modules available
on the platform. Preparation of this work required months of hard work from both
sides. An expert trainer from Specto prepared the material while the video shooting and
montage was done by EDRAAK team. Millions of Arab students benefit from the courses
available on MOOC. This was an excellent opportunity for Specto to encourage users to
sit for the ICDL tests and attain the certificate. Specto will be available to answer
questions by users in the coming three months.
EDRAAK is a massive open online course (MOOC) platform, which is an initiative of the
Queen Rania Foundation (QRF). The platform offers Arabic courses to enrich education
and gives Arab users access to courses developed and delivered at top institutions like
HarvardX, MITX, and UC BerkelyX. All courses are delivered at no cost to the learner.
