Specto® accredited seven new centers in Tunisia; two in Sfax, four in Sousse and one in
Monastir. Specto® also managed to revive the ICDL in four previously existing centers in
Tunis and Bizerte. Two more centers are expected to complete the accreditation process
soon.
Specto conducted training sessions on ICDL modules, IAS and ATS systems to enable the
new centers to start the operation. Nineteen testers and trainers attended the training
session. Seventeen of them passed the ICDL Base tests in addition to the Presentation,
Using Databases and IT Security modules. Students were very proud to receive their
ICDL certificates.
Specto® is planning to run two marketing campaigns in cooperation with the accredited
centers in the coming few months to draw the Ministry of Vocational Training and
Employment’s attention to the importance of ICDL in increasing the capacity building in
employability. Also, to convince His Excellency to include ICDL training in the new
program “Forsati” launched to facilitate the occupational integration of youth. The
Ministry plans to train 120 unemployed graduated citizen in Tunis. Specto® will also
meet with the Ministry of Telecommunications Technologies and Digital Economy to
discuss opportunities of collaboration, and hopefully get recognition of the Tunisian
government after that.
