Specto has launched the first phase of the "AI Awareness and Capacity Building for Government Employees" project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. This initiative aligns with national efforts to enhance public sector readiness for rapid digital transformations and is consistent with the Jordanian National Social Strategy for AI and its Implementation Plan (2023-2027). The phase commenced on November 9, 2025.
This stage aimed to train 3,000 government employees from 98 public institutions through 30 workshops. In-person sessions were held in Amman for capital-based employees, complemented by remote training workshops for staff across the Kingdom's various governorates to ensure broader outreach.
Exceeding its initial target, this phase resulted in the training of 3,125 government employees, reflecting high engagement and the program's impact on bolstering digital literacy within the public sector. The workshops focused on fostering awareness of AI fundamentals and its practical applications within the government work environment to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
The first phase concluded successfully on December 23, 2025, setting the stage for the project's subsequent phases.
