Specto, in cooperation with ICDL Jordan, has announced the launch of the 2026 ICDL Competition for Private and International Schools, aimed at encouraging students to employ their digital skills in developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges.

The competition invites students to submit creative projects across two main tracks: Smart Business Solutions, which focuses on using technology to improve operations and create practical business solutions, and AI for Good, which aims to harness artificial intelligence technologies to address social and environmental challenges and achieve a positive impact.

The competition targets students in grades 7 to 10, in teams of one to two students. All team members must belong to the same school and hold an ICDL certificate in part of the skills used in the project. Each school is permitted to submit up to three projects.

Evaluation criteria focus on innovation, quality of the idea, creativity, and the project's applicability to real-world challenges, as well as the extent to which the project relates to the skills acquired through the ICDL certification.

The top five projects are scheduled to be presented during the annual Specto Teachers’ Forum, where they will be evaluated and voted upon. Prizes will be awarded to the first-place winners, along with special appreciation awards for the best solutions in the fields of Smart Business and AI.

To encourage student participation and showcase their creativity, Specto is providing a special discounted accommodation rate for participants during the event.

The competition covers a range of ICDL modules that students can utilize in their projects, such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Coding, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Advanced Excel, and Image Editing, thereby enhancing their technical skills and expanding their innovation horizons.

This initiative is part of Specto's ongoing efforts to promote digital education and empower students to transform their skills into impactful real-world projects, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of keeping pace with future digital requirements.

Register now and be part of a digital innovation journey that makes a real difference in the future of education.
